Personal Development

At High Hesket CE School, we believe it is important to prepare the children for "life in all its fullness" (John 10:10) in order to enable them to participate fully in the world around them. We work hard to enhance our curriculum with a range of visits, experiences and workshops that complements the work done within the classroom. In addition to this, we encourage our children to involve themselves in the wider community and to develop skills that will help them to play an active role in this through supporting charities and local enterprises. We offer a range of clubs and residentials throughout the year and the children enjoy developing their resilience, perseverance and interpersonal skills.

The attached documents provide an overview of some of the activities and experiences that we offer in addition to our curriculum lessons. Our school Facebook page is also a great source of information!
